Moose milk's BNI
Perezgonzalez assessed the nutritional balance of moose milk as for human consumption in 2012. Results were based on data published by Medhammar et al (20111).
Moose milk had, on average, a nutritional balance of BNI 80.47-c, being particularly biased towards deficiency in carbohydrate. It was adequate in sugar and sodium, low in fiber, and high in protein, fat and saturated fat. It also provided about 280mg of calcium per 100ml of milk.
