Mare milk BNI
Perezgonzalez assessed the nutritional balance of mare milk as for human consumption in 2012. Results were based on data published by Medhammar et al (20111).
Mare milk had, on average, a nutritional balance of BNI 92.77s, being particularly biased towards excess of sugar. It was adequate in protein, carbohydrate, fat and sodium, low in fiber, and high in saturated fat. It also provided about 95mg of calcium per 100ml of milk.

Mare milk appeared as highly unbalanced according to international Recommended Dietary Intakes (RDIs).
